The meetup was fun. But it seems to me we must have some people dressed in blue costumes and funny hats & weilding silly string to enforce our social contract. No one notices the "aerosol" in the room, so we should be able to dodge any logical disagreements about how we should run our beloved General Vicinity.

I wonder how we could attract more people to philosophy.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone in Philadelphia. The conversation was great and I was happy to see more than just 4 people.

Some of the people had some pretty brilliant ideas about the novel. As the topics drifted into other subjects, it was heated and engaging toward the end.

Really got my mind stirred up with a lot of new thoughts. If you didn't read it and didn't make it to the meet-up...I highly recommend reading book, and I highly recommend checking out one of these meetups.

Nathan was prepared and led a great meeting. Not for ultra-intellectuals only... a very friendly and nurturing group.

I really enjoyed hearing everyone's perspective on ethics, as well as their history with ethics. The conversation was free-form and open-ended, and it had a really great flow to it. Thanks for coming out everyone! :)

Another enjoyable and engaging meetup with The Philadelphia Contingent! I like how the suggested topic "concepts" became the theme of the evening, leaving us free to take the conversation in different directions while still referencing "concepts" throughout. It worked out very nicely! :)

I had a great time at this event. I have chatted virtually with some of the folks and it was nice to be able to meet them face-to-face. The organizer was well prepared and was very curious about what he thought the group should do moving forward. I feel that as this meetup group gains momentum and grows, it would become more informational and interesting.

I really enjoyed meeting some fellow Philadelphia philosophers in hot pursuit of the truth. :) Everyone was very curious and engaging! I loved hearing how everyone was introduced to philosophy, and particularly how they use what they learn from philosophy in order to acheive greater happiness in their lives.
